AirLive video surveillance solution for the dairy industry in Chile
Introduction
On March 2013, the AirLive Blog for Latin America announced the implementation of a surveillance system for monitoring and control in the company Serlac Chile. (See post) As happened in the first stage of the project, the second phase was also in charge integrator Luis Cristian Saldivia Gómez.
Challenge
The goal this time was to extend the IP video surveillance solution initially implemented to increase the effective control of all movements of personnel, machinery and property of its three branches in the Chilean cities of Llanquihue, Osorno and Puerto Varas. According to the project managers, one of the challenges was to ensure smooth download videos that would monitor sites in real time. At this point, the support offered by AirLive helped solve and put the video streaming system running optimally.
Solution
In order to strengthen the system of video surveillance 16 cameras, 8 NVRs and 2 switches PoE of AirLive were installed in the second part of the project. The surveillance system operates within the scope of the local network divided into three monitoring sites. Sites of installation and details (first and second stage) Here are the AirLive products that make up the IP video surveillance system at Serlac company.
The results were very good. AirLive IP cameras POE- 280HD and OD- 2025HD meet expectations of day and night monitoring. According to managers of the company and the integrator in charge of the project, the surveillance system responds broadly to the security needs requiring milk production, with seamless access to all critical points of production facilities and personnel.
