Introduction

Howard Johnson Plaza Resort, Spa & Convention Center in the city of Luján, Buenos Aires, relied on AirLive network video surveillance solutions to provide all its customers security and communication. 

Challenge

The integrator Diseños de Alta Tecnología S.A. recommended to managers of resort and convention center installing AirLive products to meet the challenge of implementing a perimeter security system, an integrated Wi-Fi service to its customers and a network controlled public -private managed by switches.

Solution

Through connectivity equipment AirLive, Howard Johnson can provide WiFi coverage with a range of 50 m2 crossing all its lobby, plus 100% stable coverage in each room of the resort.

To achieve this goal installed a WIAS3200N to fully manage accounts that connect to the navigation service, this device allows the network administrator to divide the services in private and public networks.

In the main lobby, two AirMax2 antennas covering 50m2. Then, by installing 75 AirLive AP60 per room, the hotel provides a very efficient service connection due to their high power radio. The WDS repeater adjusted at mode settings for all devices between WIAS-3200N and AP60. For its part, the AirMax2 CPEs are configured in AP mode wired to the switch. 

Meanwhile incorporating PoE switches (POE-GSH2004L-370) allows you to power IP cameras. Subsequently, POE-FSH808PW feed switches all AP60 because latter handle PoE passive technology. 

On the other hand, the solution include display and control system of the IP video surveillance cameras, both indoor and outdoor (30 indoor cameras (5m) and 10 in the border (20m or more), are controlled from a server with software CamPro Express 64 through all spaces distributed monitors.

Result

According to the project managers, both the video surveillance system in networks like Wi-Fi coverage covers all areas providing a high quality signal, widely responding to the expectations of those in charge of security.
