New IP video surveillance system based on AirLive connectivity solution in Venezuela

CYCS Ingeniería e Instalaciones, integrator of engineering projects in the areas of access control and video security, with extensive experience and specialized solutions AirLive, carried forward under the orders of the Engineer Carlos Colmenares, director and leader of the project, the implementation of a system IP video surveillance based on high-end equipment in the CEGASA industrial complex, dedicated to the foundry and aluminum production for export on a large scale, located in Morón, Carabobo State, Venezuela.

Among the chosen AirLive products stand outside the CPE stations and base stations for wireless connectivity, switches, NVRs and IP fixed and motorized cameras.

Challenge

The CEGASA industrial complex, whose dimensions reach 30 hectares, is composed of a central building, whose units management and administrative areas five sheds production and service areas, such as power plants, warehouses of tools and materials are , tanks of working vehicles such as forklifts and cranes, welding and mechanical workshops, etc. Therefore, it is needed to implement a system of 100% wireless video security, partly due to the vast distances to be covered and implicitly also the security offered by these solutions.

The solution should contemplate an active perimeter control system along and breadth of the entire complex, which would include alarm activation, recordings and notifications via e-mail, before the appearance of unauthorized intrusion events.

Solution

The analysis phase and generated conceptual engineering design and configuration of a AirLive based solutions, such as the backbone switch POE-GSH2004L-370, which with its 24 ports PoE and 370 watts invigorated the network implementation wireless network. Meanwhile, the installation of radios excellent AirMax5X helped create a solid platform for wireless, all-IP transmission, and with extraordinary processing power and unsurpassed growth.

These high definition equipment and outstanding performance of services covered each and every one of the specific needs and requirements of the different sectors of the complex.

The main objective of the system is to monitor internal and external areas of the industrial complex, such as reception area of the administrative building, shed grinding cables, perimeter areas such as entrances and exits of people and vehicles complex, guardhouse, areas warehouse, courtyard and parking, main courtyard and weighs Roman area, shed PAL, perimeter areas of the RAL and Tsur sheds, area power plant and all surrounding areas and perimeter of the industrial complex.

Results

Among the goals met include:

I. Establishment of a control center and main monitoring which is located in the data center in the administration building:

-Rack Organization teams: NVR, switches, routers and cabling.

-Backbone POE switch to which all devices and cameras are connected.

-NVR, Control equipment and recording software which manages and controls the broad spectrum of video system AirLive IP-based security technology.

II. Conformation of a radio base station on the roof of the administrative building consists of the access points (AP), radiosmicroondas, receiving the video of all CPEs, radios transmitters

external video cameras and perimeter.

III. External display points which included:

-Design, Armed and anchor masts on roofs more than 20m high.

-design, Anchor assembly and construction tanquillas more poles, and fixing base for placement wishbones radios and cameras.

-Anclaje To poles and / or masts NEMA weatherproof for placement of electrical and telecommunications inherent in the transmission station.

Construction of masts
