Introduction

Diego Amendolía and Edgardo Sysak successfully installed a wireless IP surveillance solution at Transportes Rada Tilly S.A, Cantera km 8, Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut state, Argentina. The main purpose for this project was to establish a wireless network which covers all three company offices (200 meters in between) and enable remote viewing of the quarry site for its IP Surveillance Solution at the same field.

Challenges

The biggest drawback that integrators had to overcome was the electrical problems in the area that affected the AirLive NVR4. To solve this problem, integrators installed a PC with CamPro Express 64 and a UPS to stabilize the electrical service.

Solution

Series of AirLive AirMax5 outdoor CPEs were deployed to cover all three offices, whereas the fitted IP cameras were used to monitor the site from a distance of 30 km, with possibility for cell phone access.
